Technique

Meat, Salt and Embers

Our meat is prepared on the parrilla — a traditional Argentine grill that intensifies flavor and respects each cut. No complicated seasonings or tricks needed. The quality of the meat is the protagonist, it gets a little salt and the grill does the rest.

"We found this place looking for alternatives to our resort dining. Didn’t disappoint. The owner gave us a warm welcome and explained in detail what we could expect. They were also very accommodating in terms of our children. For a very reasonable set price you get a taster session of delicious grilled meat from several countries. This includes starter, side dishes, dessert and coffee. The staff were attentive. Possibly too much food for the two of us (our kids ate less) but would def recommend for a group wanting to eat really tasty grilled meat. Not for vegetarians."

My name is Kelvyn Valdez and I am originally from the Dominican Republic. I came to live in Portugal for love, and as a result of this change, I transitioned my professional interests from medicine to gastronomy. Both fields have something in common: the well-being and happiness of others.
I love to cook, and I do it with all my heart and soul. I invite you to come and experience tasting sessions based on high-quality meats from various parts of the world, prepared with total dedication so that you can enjoy moments of pure delight. Here, at Assador 29!
